2019 3rd Quarter Luxury (1mil+) Home Sales Out Paced
2018 in the Twin Cities and South East Florida.

It appears that predictions from even the most knowledgeable in the financial and housing worlds don't always come true. While there was a slow down in the first half of 2019, the second half has rebounded and is on pace to outperform the same time period from last year. The most common reasons that we have heard for the turn around are lower interest rates, more inventory, consumer confidence and Florida continues to benefit from the wealthy moving into the state for tax benefits. While all of these play a part, we believe that individual confidence in their own financial outlook is often the most important factor. The only caveat to this good news is that while 2.5mil and over home sales for South East Florida were up, the Twin Cities and surrounding area came in lower than in the same quarter of 2018.
