Q1 Market Analysis Summary

Paul Simon wrote “April…come she will.” In came April 2021 and brought with it the motion of spring. The motion of migratory birds returning south to begin nesting. The motion of wind in the trees and people heading nowhere just to be outside. The motion of younger minds knowing that summer is closing in with longer days, warmer waters, and freedom to roam the beaches, trails, and backyards of America; creating the magic of memories that will remain stored in the corners to be called up later to pass on to a child of the future.

Real Estate is also motion, fast motion. As far as stats and graphs are concerned, the market is as hot as it has ever been. The demand for houses is at an all-time high with a shortage of inventory almost everywhere we turn.  We hear stories of 75 showings on a single home with 17 offers in 48 hours. People from the northeast pouring into Florida to the point where Floridians are moving up to North Carolina. People want more space in and outside, from the metropolitan areas to Montana. If you have a home you want to sell, get it on the market sooner rather than later. If you want to buy a home, it is a fast and furious world with most comparison values not meaning a whole lot by the time the property is sold.
